“Martin Barre Live at the Factory Underground” is a live recorded album of 13 songs by Martin Barre, long time guitarist of Jethro Tull. The album and collectible merchandise items commemorate fifty years of Jethro Tull in America. 

 

The songs in this unique collection were performed live at Factory Underground Studio in Norwalk, CT, on October 17, 2016. The resulting live concert album is comprised of classic Jethro Tull songs, Martin Barre solo material, and unique cover songs. The performances include songs in the bombastic, electric, prog-rock Jethro Tull style, as well as never-before-heard acoustic performances.

 

A 16-panel CD booklet featuring gorgeous, original art by Ioannis of Dangerous Age is included with the package. Ioannis’s work has been featured on releases by Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dream Theater, Deep Purple, Jack Bruce (Cream), Yngwie Malmsteen, Jean Luc Ponty, King Crimson, and many others.

 

The CD booklet has an introduction by album co-producer, Grammy-winner guitarist and producer Paul Nelson (Johnny Winter)
